About RAMAS 2026
RAMAS 2026 is the 18th Annual Conference of the Rajasthan Association of Minimal Access Surgeons, taking place on 5–6 September 2026 in Bhilwara, Rajasthan. Dr. Avinash Tank takes part as Invited Faculty.
Annual meetings like this one are where practising surgeons compare technique against current evidence — through live operative sessions, recorded case videos and open discussion between faculty and delegates. In minimal-access surgery in particular, watching an operation performed and narrated in real time remains one of the most direct ways to pass on technique that is difficult to convey in text alone.
Dr. Tank's listed contributions at this edition centre on rectal prolapse, a live operative telecast, and a master video on bariatric surgery — sleeve gastrectomy. The full session list is set out in the academic programme below, exactly as published on the conference material.
Dr. Avinash Tank — Invited Faculty
Dr. Avinash Tank, GI & Bariatric Surgeon at Dwarika Hospital — Gastro, Bariatric & Laparoscopic Surgery Center in Ahmedabad, takes part as Invited Faculty at RAMAS 2026. He holds MBBS · MS (General Surgery) · MCh (Surgical Gastroenterology, SGPGIMS), and practises across surgical gastroenterology, bariatric & metabolic surgery, GI cancer surgery and advanced laparoscopic technique.
Conference participation of this kind is academic rather than clinical: faculty demonstrate and discuss operative technique with other surgeons. It is not a service offered to patients, and nothing on this page is medical advice.

Conference Details
On the venue: the conference material carries a hotel venue for RAMAS 2026, but the organising body's official website lists the conference against Krishna Hospital, Bhilwara rather than that address. Because the two sources do not agree, this page publishes the location at city level only. Please confirm the final venue directly with the organisers.
About the Rajasthan Association of Minimal Access Surgeons
According to its official website, the association was established in 2006 with the aim of making advanced laparoscopic surgery available beyond metro cities — including in the smaller towns, villages and rural districts of Rajasthan.
Its stated activities centre on surgical education: workshops, CME programmes, hands-on training sessions and annual conferences for surgeons working in minimal-access and laparoscopic surgery. RAMAS 2026 is the 18th Annual Conference in that series.
Registration, abstract submission and the complete scientific programme are published by the organisers on their own site.
